MY HERO

 MY HERO

I think that an hero is someone who can inspire you in a positive way.
I don't have an hero, for the simple fact that I feel inspired by a lot of persons and they're my heroes, common people with no superpowers or anything. Lately we've heard a lot about #bodyshaming and in particulary a personality has emerged a lot...

Ashley Graham

STAND UP FOR CURVES

Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska 30 years ago and signed with an international modeling agency when she was 13. She has worked in several areas of the fashion industry like film, television and of course runway. In February 2015, she starred a campaign with Swimsuitsforall that made her the first size 14 model appearing in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit edition. On February 2016 she was the first plus-size model appearing in an ad in Sports Illustrated and she was also selected as a Rookie of the Year.
Leader for the body positive movement, Ashley has been featured on the covers of Vogue, Cosmopolitan and more. In 2016 she was named in Forbes Magazine's "30 Under 30", Glamour nominated her "Woman Of The Year" and Mattel created a Barbie like her. As I said I don't have an hero, but Ashley is someone which I can relate to. She's a strong, independent and real woman who's not afraid to show her reality, the same reality of the women all around the world. She broke beauty standards and thaught us that nobody is perfect and that's a perk not something to be ashamed of because everything that makes us different is something to love more. 💜
